New client welcome pack
Welcome email, what-to-expect page and both checklists, in one go.
What it does
Writes the welcome email, a what-to-expect page, the list of what you need from them, and your own first-week checklist. Replaces rewriting the same welcome email and chasing the same logins for every new client.
Use it when
The day a client says yes.
What you need
- What they bought, start date, what you need from them
- Your brain file Use the template
- Your policies: payment terms, cancellations, turnaround Use the template
Connect these for better results
- Google Drive (MCP connector)Saves the welcome pack as a document you can share with the client. Claude's built-in connector; check availability on your plan.
The prompt
Copy it, fill in the [BRACKETS], and paste it into Claude.
Use my brain file (in this Project, or pasted below) for what we sell and how we work. If you don't have it, ask me for the basics first.
A new client just said yes.
Client: [NAME]
What they bought: [OFFER]
Start date: [DATE]
What I need from them: [ACCESS, FILES, DECISIONS]
How we communicate: [EMAIL / PHONE / PORTAL, AND WHEN WE'RE AVAILABLE]
Write:
1. A welcome email under 200 words that confirms what happens next and when they'll next hear from us.
2. A one-page "What to expect": the timeline by week or stage, what we do, what they do, how to reach us, how changes are handled.
3. A checklist of what I need from them, each with a "needed by" date worked back from the start date. Mark each of those dates [SUGGESTED] so I can change them.
4. My internal checklist for the first week.
Use only facts from my brain file and this message. Don't invent policies. If you need one I haven't given you (changes, cancellations, payment terms), write [POLICY NEEDED: what it covers] instead. Don't invent contact details, meeting times, turnaround times or deadlines either: write [ADD: what's needed].
