Brisbane · QLD
Local SEO for Brisbane and South East Queensland.
South East Queensland is not a city, it is a corridor. A business in Brisbane servicing from Caboolture to the Gold Coast is covering nearly two hundred kilometres, and a single page saying "servicing Brisbane and surrounds" tells a search engine almost nothing about where you actually work.

The Brisbane market
What is actually different here.
The SEQ sprawl is the whole opportunity. Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Moreton Bay, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast function as one economic region and as several distinct search markets. A business ranking in Brisbane CBD and nowhere else is invisible to the majority of its own catchment.
Growth is the other factor. Springfield, North Lakes, Ripley and the northern Moreton Bay corridor are adding population faster than incumbents are adding content, which means genuinely open search results in areas that will be dense in five years.
Queensland also runs on AEST year round with no daylight saving. It sounds trivial and it is not: between October and April your opening hours and your enquiry response times differ from the southern states, and getting that wrong on a Business Profile costs you calls.
Where we work in Brisbane
The areas, and what each one needs.
Inner Brisbane
CBD, Valley, Newstead, West End. Professional services and hospitality, the most contested search in the state.
Northside corridor
Chermside through North Lakes to Caboolture. Fast growth, trades and services demand, thin competition.
Southside and Logan
Springwood, Sunnybank, Logan. Dense residential and light industrial. Strong for trades and home services.
Western corridor
Ipswich and Springfield. Among the fastest growing areas in Australia and among the least contested in search.
Gold and Sunshine Coasts
Distinct markets with their own competitive sets. Treat them as separate from Brisbane, because searchers do.

What is included
What you get, and what it costs.
Scope drives the number: how many of the SEQ centres you need coverage across, and how much technical work the existing site needs first. A single-centre business sits at the lower end. One covering Brisbane plus both coasts sits at the upper end, because that is genuinely three markets.
We run two South East Queensland brands day to day, so this is not a market we are guessing at. On one SEQ build we produced an 880-page suburb system across eight regions, generated from structured data with verified local facts rather than a template with the place name swapped.

Brisbane questions, answered straight.
Including what it costs, whether we cover your area, and where being Melbourne based does and does not matter.
How much does local SEO cost in Brisbane?
Between $2,500 and $5,000 a month with us, driven mainly by how many SEQ centres you need to cover. Brisbane pricing generally sits below Sydney and roughly level with Melbourne. If you only need one corridor rather than the whole region, say so, because it materially lowers the number.
Do you cover the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast?
Yes, and we would treat them as separate markets rather than as Brisbane suburbs, because searchers do. Someone in Southport is not looking for a Brisbane business, and a page that lumps them together will rank for neither. It costs more to cover all three properly and it is the only approach that works.
Are you based in Brisbane?
No, we are Melbourne based and we spend regular time on the ground in SEQ. Two of the brands we run day to day are South East Queensland businesses, so the seasonality, the quoting patterns and the way local search behaves across a multi-centre region are things we have had to solve rather than read about.
How long does it take to rank in Brisbane?
The growth corridors, Ipswich, Springfield, North Lakes, Redcliffe, frequently move in four to eight weeks because competition is genuinely thin. Inner Brisbane takes three to six months. We sequence the fast areas first so there is evidence the programme is working before the slow ones land.
Does the no-daylight-saving thing actually affect anything?
Yes, in two ways worth fixing. Your Business Profile hours need to be right year round or Google shows you as closed when you are open, which costs calls. And if you take enquiries from southern states, your effective overlap shifts by an hour for half the year, which affects how fast you appear to respond. Small, and it shows up in the numbers.
Can you get us cited by AI assistants as well?
Yes, and it is included rather than an upsell. Local questions are increasingly answered by an assistant naming a few businesses instead of listing links. The signals behind that are structured data and factual consistency rather than ranking position, which means it is a separate piece of work and a much emptier field right now.
