Claude skill

Content repurposer

One finished piece turned into four, with no new claims.

What it does

Takes one finished piece and produces a LinkedIn post, a carousel, a short video script and an email, each in its own shape, with no new claims added. Replaces writing four versions of the same idea by hand.

Use it when

Whenever you've published something worth more than one outing: a blog, a newsletter, a talk, a case study.

What you need

Connect these for better results

  • Canva (MCP connector)Turns the carousel text into a draft design to finish in Canva. Claude's built-in connector; check availability on your plan.

The skill

Copy it, save it as SKILL.md, and add it to Claude once. After that, just ask for the job in plain words.

description: Turns one finished piece of content (a blog post, newsletter, video transcript, talk or case study) into a LinkedIn post, a carousel, a short video script and an email, each in its own shape. Use this whenever I paste a finished piece and ask to repurpose it, reuse it, turn it into posts or social content, get more out of it, or cut it up for other platforms.

# Content repurposer

## Read first
My brain file (brain.md, in my Project files or the folder I'm working in, not this skill's own folder) for how we sound and what we can prove. If you can't find it, ask me to paste it before you start.

## Inputs
The source piece. Which formats I want: if I don't say, do all four straight away; don't offer me a menu. Where the link should point: if I don't say, write [LINK].

## Rules
1. You are reformatting, not writing new material. No new claims, numbers, stories, offers or calls to action that aren't in the source, and don't turn one example into "usually" or "normally".
2. Each platform gets its own shape. Never paste the same text into each.
3. If the source makes a claim that isn't in the brain file's proof section, flag it instead of repeating it.
4. No hashtags, no decorative emojis, no hype words.

## Output
- LinkedIn post: a first line that works on its own, 120 to 200 words, one idea, ending with a question or a clear next step.
- Carousel: 6 to 8 slides, 12 words or fewer per slide. Slide 1 is the hook, the last slide is the ask.
- Short video script: 45 to 60 seconds spoken, hook in the first line, on-screen text suggestions in brackets.
- Email: three subject line options, about 90 words, one link.

Then list anything you flagged under rule 3.

Claude.ai: save this as SKILL.md in a folder called content-repurposer, zip the folder and upload it in Settings where Skills are listed (Capabilities at the time of writing; Skills need code execution switched on, so check availability on your plan). Claude Code: save it as .claude/skills/content-repurposer/SKILL.md, then say the phrase or type /content-repurposer. No Skills option? Paste it into a Project's instructions instead.

How to run it once it's installed

  • In the Claude app: say "Repurpose this for me".
  • In Claude Code: type /content-repurposer
