Friday wrap: the week in one page
The week on one page, plus proof to log.
What it does
Turns a rambling end-of-week brain dump into what moved, what's stuck, what to log as proof and what matters on Monday. Replaces the wins you'll have forgotten by next month, and the Monday where you can't remember where you were.
Use it when
Every Friday afternoon. Dictate it rather than type it.
What you need
- A dictated end-of-week brain dump
- Your brain file Use the template
- Your proof: reviews, results and client quotes you can use Use the template
Connect these for better results
- Google Calendar and Gmail (MCP connector)Claude can list the week's meetings and sent emails, so the wrap doesn't rely on what you remember on a Friday. Claude's built-in connector; check availability on your plan.
The prompt
Copy it, fill in the [BRACKETS], and paste it into Claude.
Use my brain file (in this Project, or pasted below). If you don't have it, ask me for the basics first.
It's the end of the week. Here's what happened: [DICTATE IT: JOBS DONE, WINS, PROBLEMS, NEW ENQUIRIES, ANYTHING A CUSTOMER SAID]
Give me:
1. Three lines: what moved, what's stuck, what needs a decision from me.
2. Wins worth logging: anything specific and checkable. For each, ask me where the evidence lives (an email, a review, an invoice, a screenshot) and whether I can use it publicly. If I'm vague, push back and ask for the actual number or quote.
3. Anything a customer said that belongs in the "Their words" section of my brain file.
4. The three most important things for Monday.
5. Lines for my brain file's "What we can prove" section, in one block I can copy. Always include this block, even if evidence is missing: end those lines with [CONFIRM: where the evidence is, and whether I can use it publicly]. Only include what I actually said; don't round up or tidy a result into something bigger. This is how the brain file stays current. Proof logged weekly is proof you can actually use later.
