Step 8 of 8
Launch strategy
A dated launch plan with your first messages written.
You finish with
A dated launch plan: who you'll tell, in what order, what you'll ask them to do, and how you'll know it's working.
Why it matters
Launching is mostly telling the right people, one at a time, and asking clearly. A plan with dates stops you hiding behind one more round of polishing.
What you need
- Your brain file Use the template
- A list of people you can contact directly
Connect these for better results
- Google Calendar (MCP connector)Puts the launch-week plan into your calendar as dated tasks. Claude's built-in connector; check availability on your plan.
The prompt
Copy it, fill in the [BRACKETS], and paste it into Claude.
Help me plan a small, realistic launch for my offer.
My brain file: [PASTE IT, OR SAY IT'S IN THIS PROJECT]
Launch date: [DATE]
People I can contact directly: [E.G. FORMER COLLEAGUES, A LOCAL GROUP, FRIENDS AND FAMILY, PAST CLIENTS]
Platforms I've set up: [FROM STEP 4]
Ad budget, if any: [AMOUNT, OR "NONE"]
Hours I have each week: [HOURS]
Give me:
1. A first ten conversations plan: who to contact first, and a short, personal message for each group (not a mass blast). Each message asks for one thing: a conversation, a referral or a booking.
2. A launch-week calendar, day by day: what to post, who to message, who to follow up.
3. One simple way to take bookings or payments, and what to set up before launch day.
4. What to track: conversations started, replies, bookings. Nothing that only looks good.
5. A follow-up rule for people who don't reply.
6. What to change at the two-week mark if nothing has happened: three adjustments, smallest first.
Rules: no sales forecasts. No fake scarcity, countdown timers or made-up testimonials. If I have no reviews yet, help me ask my first customers for honest feedback after the job. Use only details from my brain file and this message: for anything I haven't decided (session times, turnaround, prices for extras, how many spots are left), write [ADD: what's needed] in the messages instead of filling it in.
Last step before you reply: check every price, number, date, time and timeframe against what I've told you. Replace anything I didn't give you with [ADD: what's needed], or mark it [PROPOSED] if it's your suggestion. Done when: Your launch date is in the calendar, your first messages are written, and you've sent the first one.
