Step 4 of 8
Social
One or two platforms, profiles written, first ten posts planned.
You finish with
One or two platforms chosen, profiles written, three content pillars, and your first ten posts planned.
Why it matters
You don't need every platform. You need to be findable where your customers already look, and to show up often enough that they remember you.
What you need
- Your offer and brand sheet
- Hours you have and what you're comfortable doing
The prompt
Copy it, fill in the [BRACKETS], and paste it into Claude.
Help me set up social media for a new business. My time is limited, so pick, don't spread.
My offer: [ONE-SENTENCE OFFER]
My brand sheet: [PASTE IT]
Who it's for, and where I think they spend time online: [YOUR BEST GUESS]
Time I can give each week: [HOURS]
What I'm comfortable doing: [WRITING / TALKING TO CAMERA / PHOTOS / NONE OF THESE YET]
1. Recommend one or two platforms and say why, based on where my customers are, not what's popular.
2. Write the profile for each: display name, a bio within the platform's character limit, what the link should point to, and what to use as the profile image (a logo or graphic is fine).
3. Give me three content pillars: topics I can post about again and again that show I understand the customer's problem.
4. Plan the first ten posts: pillar, first line, the point, format. Base them on real customer questions where you can.
5. A weekly routine that fits my hours, including time to reply to comments.
No hashtag lists, no growth hacks, no follower targets. Respect what I said I'm comfortable doing. In the post plan, don't invent dates, times, availability or details I haven't decided: write [ADD: what's needed] instead. Done when: Your profiles are live, and your first three posts are written and scheduled.
