An AI consultant for Sydney businesses that already started and stalled.
Sydney businesses are further along than the national average, and that changes the job. More have run a pilot, more have licences nobody uses, and more have a board that has asked the same question twice. The work here is less about convincing anyone and more about untangling what was already started.

The Sydney market
What is actually different here.
The typical Sydney engagement does not begin at zero. It begins with three teams that each bought a different tool, none of which talk to each other, and nobody owning the outcome. The first month is usually spent working out what to keep, what to switch off, and what was never going to work.
That is a different and slightly awkward conversation, because someone chose those tools. We try to run it as an audit of fit rather than of judgement, since the tools are rarely the problem. The sequencing was.
Sydney also has the deepest concentration of financial and professional services in the country, which brings genuine constraints. Compliance, client confidentiality and audit trails are not obstacles to work around, they are design requirements, and any consultant treating them as friction will build you something you cannot use.
Where we work in Sydney
The areas, and what each one needs.
CBD and North Sydney
Finance, legal and professional services. Compliance and audit requirements shape every build.
Macquarie Park and Norwest
Technology, pharmaceutical and corporate. Usually further along, and usually with more abandoned pilots.
Parramatta and Greater West
The fastest growing commercial centre in NSW. Less saturated with consultants, and more receptive.
Alexandria, Mascot and the South
Logistics, distribution and light industrial. Data moving between systems that were never designed to talk.
Newcastle and Wollongong
Industrial and professional services, and a long way down most consultants' list. Worth attention.

What is included
What you get, and what it costs.
Ongoing engagements run $2,500 to $5,000 a month. A standalone diagnosis is $4,000 to $9,000. Where an engagement starts with untangling existing tools, the diagnosis usually runs at the upper end, because auditing four half-implemented systems takes longer than mapping a business that has not started.
We are Melbourne based and run Sydney engagements remotely, travelling up for diagnosis workshops where the scope warrants it. Relevant experience: we built a secure AI lead-intelligence system for a national mortgage aggregator, a sector where compliance constraints are real and where "move fast" is not an available option.

How much does an AI consultant cost in Sydney?
Ongoing work with us runs $2,500 to $5,000 a month, and a standalone diagnosis is $4,000 to $9,000. Sydney consulting rates run higher than the national average and enterprise firms will quote multiples of this. What you should compare is not the rate but what gets built, and whether you own it afterwards.
We already bought tools that nobody uses. Can you help with that?
That is the most common Sydney engagement we take. The first job is an honest audit of what exists: what to keep, what to switch off, and what was never going to work. It is usually less awkward than people expect, because the tools are rarely the problem. Nobody owned the outcome and nothing was sequenced.
Do you understand financial services compliance?
We have worked under Australian Credit Licence constraints, building a lead-intelligence system for a national mortgage aggregator. We are not compliance advisers and will not pretend to be. What we will do is design so your existing obligations stay intact: audit trails, human approval gates, and data that does not go where it should not.
You are in Melbourne. Why would we use you over a Sydney firm?
For some engagements you should not, and if being in the room weekly matters to you we will say so. For most, the build work is identical over video and you are not paying for Sydney overheads. We fly up for diagnosis workshops when the scope warrants it. That is the honest trade.
What would you tell us not to automate?
Positioning and pricing, the original insight behind a campaign, sensitive client conversations, and relationship-driven outreach to your largest accounts. In regulated sectors, add anything where being confidently wrong creates a reportable problem. We name the specific ones during the diagnosis.
How fast can you start?
Usually within two weeks. Diagnosis takes one to two weeks, and the first working system is generally live two to four weeks after that. If you need something faster than that, tell us on the call and we will say honestly whether it is possible.

Thirty minutes. If this is not the right thing for your Sydney business to spend money on, we will say so and point you at what is.
