You finish with
One sentence that defines your offer: who it's for, what they get, how it's delivered, the price you'll test, and what it doesn't include.
Why it matters
A vague idea can't be priced, explained or sold. An offer can, and every step after this one depends on it.
What you need
- Your research note and what real customers told you
- What you can deliver right now, and your time
The prompt
Copy it, fill in the [BRACKETS], and paste it into Claude.
Help me turn my idea into a clear offer. Ask questions before you write anything.
My idea: [THE IDEA]
What I learned from research: [PASTE YOUR RESEARCH NOTE, OR THE BEST THINGS CUSTOMERS SAID]
What I can deliver right now: [YOUR SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND THE TIME YOU HAVE]
Step 1: ask me up to six questions to sharpen it, all in one message.
Step 2: after I answer, give me three versions of the offer. For each: who it's for (specific), the problem it solves in the customer's words, what they get, how it's delivered, a price to test with your reasoning, and what's not included.
Step 3: recommend one to test first, and say why in two sentences.
Step 4: write the recommended offer as one sentence: "I help [WHO] [GET WHAT] by [HOW], for [PRICE]."
Rules: base the price on what people already pay for the alternatives in my research. Don't forecast sales. Anything you're proposing that I haven't told you (session length, what's included, timings, extras like firing or delivery) is your suggestion: mark it [PROPOSED] and check it against what I said I can deliver. If something blocks the offer (equipment, space or access I don't have yet), still write all three versions: list the blockers at the top as what to sort out first, and mark them [ADD: what's needed] in the offers.
Last step before you reply: check every price, number, date, time and timeframe against what I've told you. Replace anything I didn't give you with [ADD: what's needed], or mark it [PROPOSED] if it's your suggestion. Done when: You can say your offer in one sentence, and someone who fits the description understands it without a follow-up question.
